Science

We are loving our Solar System unit!  This week we talked about the different phases of the moon.  After talking about it, we made it more interactive by using oreos so that we could make the different phases of the moon ourselves!
We learned:
*The moon doesn't actually change shape--we can only see certain parts of the moon due to the sun's position.
*The way the moon looks to us at night changes every single night--even if it's just subtle.
*The moon goes through a cycle.

and finally....  oreo cookies are Y-U-M-M-Y!
